On June 9th Ropers, Friends, Family, First Responders and Community members gathered at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds for the 2nd annual 10-33 State Trooper Memorial Roping” fundraiser. This event allows community members, families and team ropers to come together and remember our fallen heroes. The 10-33 STMR gives back 100% of tax free proceeds to the families that are in need to help heal and pay for unforeseeable costs. The 10-33 State Trooper Memorial Roping was founded in 2016 by Captain Weil and Corporal Honn with the Colorado State Patrol. Both are avid Team Roper’s outside of serving & protecting the State of Colorado daily. With their passion for serving Colorado and living the western way of life, it was only natural to put both together and create this roping event to give back to the families of loved ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice and were killed in the line of duty.

The Inaugural 10-33 State Trooper Memorial Roping honored Trooper Jaimie Jursevics and Trooper Cody Donahue.
